The PBAA is a local trade association serving any company or individual who owns or manages rental property. Membership is available to owners of single family dwellings, condominiums, duplexes, mobile homes, man camps, and multi-family apartment communities. Vendor/ Supplier Memberships are available and strongly encouraged to companies who serve the rental owner community in any capacity.

PBAA promotes quality and professionalism in the industry through education, legislative advocacy, and a strong networking avenue for all. In 1980, Midland and Odessa chartered local chapters to serve the growing multi-family market. They operated separately but partnered on many endeavors and special events together. As the Permian Basin grew more and more, professionals in the two chapters saw the need to merge as one larger, stronger association.

In 2005, the two associations joined forces permanently, becoming the Permian Basin Apartment Association, now over 240 members strong, serving members in 16 counties.
